Open Source
The primitives under everything we build, published on crates.io under open-source licenses. Each crate carries a maturity tier, so you know which ones to depend on and which ones are still in the lab.
Start here
Building a Rust agent? Add the SDK, follow the ten-minute quickstart, and you have a post-quantum identity that can sign and verify.
cargo add aethel-sdkAudit status
None of these crates has been independently audited, and none holds a CMVP / FIPS 140-3 validation. "FIPS 203/204/205/206" means the algorithms follow those standards, not that the code is certified. Known issues are listed in each crate's SECURITY.md.
Thin, standards-bound libraries on the identity or payment path. Depend on them today. Not yet independently audited; an external review of pqc-sig and pqc-kem is planned.
Post-quantum signatures: ML-DSA (FIPS 204), SLH-DSA (FIPS 205), FN-DSA (FIPS 206). Standalone and WASM-compatible.
MIT OR Apache-2.0
cargo add pqc-sigPost-quantum key encapsulation: ML-KEM (FIPS 203), hybrid X25519 + ML-KEM-768 (the default) and X-Wing, plus sealed boxes that encrypt straight to a public key. Standalone and WASM-compatible.
MIT OR Apache-2.0
cargo add pqc-kemPost-quantum anonymous identity for Rust and WASM: a separate identifier for every context, no reusable public key, and context-bound ML-DSA signing. Selective disclosure ships too and is being hardened; SECURITY.md has the details.
Apache-2.0
cargo add aethel-corePublished and working, with APIs still settling. Built on the production crates and not yet on the 8gentz.io settlement path.
Ergonomic Rust SDK over aethel-core: generate, sign, verify, project, recover. The place to start.
Apache-2.0
cargo add aethel-sdkPost-quantum agent wallet: policy-gated EIP-3009/x402 USDC signing with ML-DSA-65 spend intents, optional FHE confidential balances. Agent-held, never hosted by 8gentz.
Apache-2.0
cargo add aethel-vaultResearch we publish so you can see what we are working on. Lab code never sits on an identity or payment path and claims no FIPS conformance.
For agents and tools: the same list is available as JSON at /api/crates, through the getCrates tool on our MCP server at /api/mcp, and in /llms.txt.
